From time to time, obstacles do arise and we think that happiness is stolen from us. We assume to have nobody else to turn to and that everybody is against us. But, life has something new to offer, that’s why we are bombarded by many trials to challenge us and make us strong. Life has never loses its twists and turns. With these, we forget to help ourselves get up and laugh at the problems to make them become bubbles. We keep murmuring and complaining. Yet, we do not realize too early that the more we think of the things that make us sick, the dilemmas multiply.
Common problems include relationships. Most of those involving intimate closeness tend to be just as hard as steel when found to have lapses and brokenness. No relationship is ever perfect and we cannot control circumstances when it comes to falling in love. When two hearts fall together for each other, no storm could break it as long as both keep them standing still. But, how about if two hearts fall for two different persons, and that loving each of them becomes vague enough to happen? Well, we cannot question if breakup comes in between --- when the storm breaks a weak relationship. And so, who gets to move on easily after a breakup, the man or the woman? This should be something we have to ponder on.
In a relationship, we cannot say who loves the most. We cannot gauge it even if we are into it. It is immeasurable. The value of love differs from how one treats somebody else, and that is something we have to think about and feel for. So, we cannot generalize that whoever loves the most gets to move on the harder. Perhaps, we can say there is just commonality among men and among women, that is why our judgment for who moves on the faster could be attributed to the general public.
What is in women that make them easy to move on after a breakup? Let us take them one at a time.
Women can easily flirt, and they can just hang out with their female friends or have a gig with a few men rock stars when they are broken-hearted. They could do dancing all night and mingle a lot. They assume to be superwomen. Once they speak out to their friends about what had happened to them and their boyfriends last month or two days ago, they feel a little relieved. They drink a few more shots and then, there you go!
Women can do all the household chores throughout the day, go on shopping and malling, stroll in the park and eat too much (especially chocolates) and end their day so tiring that all they have to do at night is to sleep to death after working with so many stuffs. What could be a good resort is to keep oneself busy that thinking about one’s heartaches will be less thought.
Women are great pretenders. They condition themselves that they are okay, even though their heart is aching. They try to stay away from hearing the name of their ex-boyfriends/husbands and escape from getting caught of telling the real story about them. They just need a little more friends to surround them, just to see they still have true persons to talk about other matters. When they get in the situation of meeting their ex somewhere, they act as if they do not see anything and that they do not know that stupid person who once broke their whole world around. But when having no choice of meeting eye to eye, they simply smile, and say, “My new boyfriend is waiting already for me," even if they are not asked about having someone new.
What is in women that make them hard to move on after a breakup? We need to get to know about this.
Women are hoarders. They used to keep the gifts their ex-boyfriends once gave them during monthsaries and anniversaries. So, when they see them, they remember everything, even the details about when and where the gift was given. They do not want to throw them away. For them, it’s a waste.
The reason why women do not like to get caught up in a talk about their past is because once it is opened for a story, they story-tell and keep their tears from falling. And, the bad thing is, the guy is always the culprit even though at some point the women are the ones making the trouble. The good friends would then console to the woman victim. How sad this would be.
Women are of high expectations and so hopeful. They always wish their ex-bf’s name would show up the phone for an apology or a reconciliation. When in fact, their phone would not ring for that reason and that would make them feel mad even more for the guy.
How about men? What would be so hard and easy for them to move on? They are so simple. They just sleep all day, skip meals and play games with their closest friends after the breakup. They do not do much talking and dramas. However, these make them the ones harder to move on than women. Their activities do not help them forget the person, not until they meet someone better enough to help them heal the wound in their hearts. Sometimes, they do not fall immediately to the new one. They just try themselves to let that person patch up little by little the things that had hurt them. Slowly, they fall in love and that is their way of moving on.
Above all else, it is still up to the person whether he or she moves on faster, regardless of gender. Just like love, it is not a guessing game, but a decision. Most often, it is all in the mind. It is what dictates our heart on what to do with losing.
